A mild drama ensued when the Kano state commissioner of police, Muhammad Musa Katsina, paraded a ‘spirit’ and ordered him to demonstrate techniques he was using in duping unsuspecting public. In keeping with the instruction of the police boss, the ‘spirit’ spoke in 3 styles in Hausa, a trick he had been using to dupe people before being arrested by the command. Earlier, Katsina had paraded suspected armed robbers who had been terrorizing people in and around the state along with dangerous weapons seized from them.
Also paraded were hard drugs and cocaine with street value of about N2 billion confiscated at various times from suspected drug barons in different locations of the state. Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, who was personally at the police headquarters to see for himself the giant efforts of his officers, expressed his happiness at how criminal activities could be easily curbed by them.
He also stressed government’s determination in partnering with the all security agencies with a view to making the state safer for peaceful co-existence among citizens. In another development, family members of Mr Kissi Amoateng in Sunynai, Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana were shocked to the marrow following the images they got from his burial. Sunyani-based radio station, Sky Fm, reports that images captured by the funeral photographer, Oboy Spirit, showed the deceased standing in the crowd and crying at his own funeral which took place last Saturday.
The funeral rites which had been concluded came back to everyone’s memories when the photographer presented the captured funeral images, two days after.
